About Me
My love for dogs started at a young age. One of my earliest memoirs is helping out at a cocker spaniel breeding farm as a child, and since then dogs have always been a big part of my life
I've owned & cared for many breed and personalities, from small companion dogs to large, strong breeds & nervous rescue dogs. I have owned rescued dogs myself including Old English Bulldog & Dobermans, I have also fostered dogs to free up kennel space & find them new homes.
alongside caring for animals, I work as a land & planning consultant working from home. Stayfield Pets was created to combine my lifelong passion for dogs with trust and responsibility that comes with caring for people's homes & pets while they travel.
Experience
Through both personal & professional experiences, I've had the opportunity to care for dogs & homes across UK, The USA, Greece & several other countries
This has included everything from relaxed elderly dogs to energetic breeds & nervous rescue dogs that require patience, awareness & confident handling.
Many dogs I've worked with have had behavioural quirks or anxieties, including dogs reactive to bikes, strangers or men. With calm handling and patience I have always been able to build trust and find mutual ground with dogs in my care.
Every pet is different and understanding their behaviour, routine and surroundings is key to keeping them comfortable & safe.
Personal Service
Stayfield Pets is a small, personal service, not a large agency with multiple staff.
I work with a limited number of regular clients so I can provide a reliable, trusted and attentive service for both pets and homeowners.
Before any booking we can discuss your pet's needs and routine to ensure the right level of care is provided.
Pricing can vary depending on the level of care required.
for example: an elderly or relaxed dog with minimal exercise needs may require less time & attention. A rescue or anxious dogs may need more dedicated time, patience and supervision.
The aim is always to provided the right level of care for the pet, while giving owners peace of mind that their home and animals are in safe hands.
